About Chip
Chip Richter is a PGA-certified golf professional with more than 25 years of experience as both a player and coach. His instruction combines experience and modern technology to simplify the game and help players improve with clarity and consistency.
A graduate of Old Dominion University, Chip began his professional career at Lake Nona Golf & Country Club before continuing at Caves Valley Golf Club. He later spent nearly 20 years as Head Golf Professional at Carlisle Country Club.
He currently serves as Director of Instruction at The Country Club of Harrisburg and is a member of the Titleist staff. Chip has been recognized as the Central Counties Chapter PGA Golf Professional of the Year and received the Philadelphia Section’s Horton Smith Award.

Lessons are held on the outdoor practice range, putting green, and short game area, and include use of video and training technology.
As a private club, appropriate golf attire is required. Collared shirts (or equivalent), proper golf pants or shorts, and soft spikes are expected. Denim, athletic wear, and tank tops are not permitted.
Online booking is available April through October. Offseason scheduling is handled by phone at (717) 421-0211.
